Magical day....

“We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories. Some take us forward, they're called dreams."

A childhood is what anyone wants to remember and my childhood was always with him..

Mom says..

When he was born, I dint like him, I  feared that all the love, my mom showed on me would become less by his entry in my life.. I showed it on him..  In the hospital, I pinched him on his forehead the first time I saw him…

Later when he was learning to walk, I used to push him every time he stood up with the support.. So every time he stood up to walk, He always looked around to ensuring I’m nowhere near… One day I knocked him so hard tat he had two stitches on his forehead..

He was no less….
My mom used to bang me every time I hit him.. So every time before I do something him, he used to scream hard and cry out loud.. My mom would come running to rescue him, thinking I did something to him…
He used to smile at me when she left.. And that is when Our fight used to start..
We used to fight with pillows, belts, drumsticks, books, and what not.. Used to throw everything we found nearby on one another…

One day my mom was busy and she told me to take him somewhere.. I don’t remember where exactly, probably to the school (he was in pre kg) which was a street next to our home.. That is when the magic happened..

When we both started to walk, with his tiny little hands he caught my finger... At that moment, for the first time, I felt the love for my brother in my heart and felt his trust on me…I was surprised at myself and all the reasons for the fights with him looked silly at that moment.. The jealousy in me had vanished… The feeling was a mixture of love, surprise, and responsibility… I walked ahead like a responsible sister who is supposed to take her bother safely to his school..

Probably after that day till today I love him as much as I love my mother or probably more then that.. :)
